The trip was not a great succes. Well ballsup played with his A team.

Whisky had only youngsters on the pitch.

Humberto Long and Rob Dochen played outstanding.

The verdict was hard but it was a nice experience.

President J&B, having good contacts in south America, was able to get an invitation from a team from Paraguay.

One of the last south american countries where Whisky hasn't played yet.

Fuerte Olimpo will be the adversory.

Bellaert Boys #1 in IX.1459
A nice first season for Bellaert Boys. Not a very difficult league with a lot of BOT-teams. The real work will be next season.
Blue Army Force #3 in VII.394
It was the last game in which my dear friend BAF lost controll and drew. If he would have won this last game he would have earned a slot in 6th league. Maybe next season!
De Louis #3 in VII.95
De Louis had a season with ups and downs. Too bad he loses the second place on goal difference. Also for him president J&B hopes De Louis might end up playing in 6th.
Fc Lajfi #1 in VIII.1090
The second champion in the friend list. He was sure of the championship when scoring 1 point but he did it in style in his last game winning 3-4.
Gevos #1 in VIII.271
Was allready sure of becoming champion for some weeks. An impressive 14 streak of victories and ready for 7th I would guess.
Kilian #4 in VI.51
A quiet season and this team is capable of playing for the first place. Better luck next season.
Jestom United #2 in IX.504
The man with the plan. Going for glory and honour in 8th. Hopefully we'll play a friendly again next season.
MTK Frivaldo #8 in VI.528
A team adrift. No telling when manager Firvaldszky will get his men back on the right track!? After succefull years in 6th and even 5th, this team is struggling to win a game let alone maintain in 6th. A refreshment course by president J&B is emminent.
Pilou United #1 in VI.922
What a surprise in his last game of the season due to loss of the first Pilou managed to win the championship by scoring 8 goals more than his opponent. Congratulations Pilou with your title in 6th division!!!
Zwanchester United #7 in VI.598
Unfortunately all was lost last week, when it wasn't possible to end 6th which would have ment Zeeroneemoo could stay in 6th. Now he will relegate to 7th division again but hopefully we can celebrate the championship in 7th again next season.

Continuing the tradition after the last home game of the season a reception was held at the forrestierstadion.
Most Valuable Player this season:
Victor Febles who was 10 times voted as MVP this season.
Panu Fouché is second with 5 awards.
Giancarlo Penati was third with 3 MVP awards.

Red and yellow cards is not yet decided and we are awaiting the last game
Jaimie Barbosa is leading with 4.

Most games is won by Will Armstrong, he played 22 games.
Panu Fouché is second with 19 games
Edmundo Duhalde played 17 games.
Probably these numbers will change but Fouché nor Duhalde can arrive at having 22 games.

Panu Fouché played the most non frienldy games , 19 in total.
Folowed by Duhalde and Armstrong

Topscorer this season is Panu Fouché with overall 24 goals.
He scored all these goals in competition and cup matches.
Second is Orla Lyhne who had to let Panu go due to his injury.
He will probably be returnig the last game but he has to score 9 goals to get even with Fouché.
Third is Léonard Wallart with 10 goals. He scored 8 goals in friendly games and 2 in official and cup matches.
Overall in all games 20 players scored at least 1 goal.
Coach Wallèn had not yet announced the squad for next Sunday but if Darren Grondin is selected for the A squad, he will play his 160th game for this club.
He would equal the legendary Raoul Girard. Currently Sales Director for the team.
We asked Darren if he would consider playing another year for the team.
'Of course' he said. I'm only 29years old and if I don't have physical problems I will be playing for this club at least two more years. Maybe I'll attempt the 200 mark.
Darren Grondin has played the most non friendly games for this team. He is now first with 121 matches in the competition or the cup.

3. Pio Abellan : the spanish winger who joined the team in February 2005 with 151 games
4. Otso Eskola : Currently Pr Manager for the club with 135
5. Giancarlo Penati : Swiss midfielder who joined the team in april 2005
6. Franck Cabourg : The goalie who was transfered to danny cruiff17 in Holland as is still active. He played 129 games.
7. Barend Peeters: Legendary Midfielder and still active in Uruguay
8. Glen Isebaert: All time best youth player for Whiskyandcigars. Stronghold on the midfield scoring 8 goals this season (4 in competition and 4 in the cup) Currently played 118 games.
9. Anthony Coudijzer: Legendary striker of Whiskyandcigars. Now 31 and still active in Latvija.
10 Kajar Nahasepp: Still leading the friendly games for Whisky and currently at 105 games. This Finnish goalgetter is now playing in Spain.
11. Victor Febles : Mexican top player for whisqkyandcigars has also 105. He will be selected for the next game and will be the only one to achieve 106 games.
With this smaal walk in memory lane we end this message.
The president announced that as announced earlier whiskyandcigars will play their first friendly in Africa. Next Wednesday the team will play against a South African team. More news will be announced shortly.

FC Alunis Balti - whiskyandcigars 6 - 1

The trip to Moldova wasn't succesfull. The B-team had to take up arms against an A-team. Youngster keeper Rob Dochen had very good games lately but in this game he had to conceed 6 goals.
Nice to see that Jesus Castillo scored a goal in his first game ever.
A welcome replacement since the B-team had no forward anymore.
The president is contacting foreign teams in countries the team hasn't visited yet. Sources within the club rumours were humming that the team might be looking to go to Africa for the first time in the history of the club. The club's doctor was positive about the recovery of Will Armstrong. He might be fully recovered when at the start of the new season.
Next Sunday extra busses will be available for fans to celebrate victory and the second title of whiskyandcigars at the Kempboys arena in Liege.

MOLDOVA !!!

This region, historically known as Bessarabia, has changed hands many times.

It is a small country next to Ukraine and Romania. Both last named countries have been visited earlier by whiskyandcigars.

Moldova has only 680 teams in hattrick. Divided in 10 leagues.

We are up against FC Alunis Balti whiwh plays in third division.

Above you can see a map of Moldova. Our adversary is from the Balti region. In the middle of the country.
The A team of FC Alunis Balti is a very good team. The B team is not that good.

Coach Wallèn will take no risks for injuries since all A team players should be fit for the last game of the season next week.

So we believe that only youngsters will be in the squad for Moldovia.
